[Happy not-as-much-of-an-infant day, Noctis! Rosalind isn't one for fishing, but she's not going to just let today slide by without comment. This morning, there's a large box waiting outside his apartment. It contains the following:

1) A detailed guide on more advanced techniques of fishing
2) A few expensive hooks and things (and things, whatever lures fish in, those colorful little fake flies)
3) A miniature figurine of Primus Optimum, the leader of the Transformers (who is not, apparently, a robot)

And a card, where Ros has written the following:

Noctis--

You're officially allowed to drink in this barbaric country. I'd wish you congratulations if you hadn't already gone through that rite of passage three years ago. As it is, I'd be more than happy to share a glass of wine with you over dinner one night soon, if you'd care to celebrate. Not tonight; I suspect tonight you and your friends will be celebrating your latest kill. (Do you even know how to gut a fish? I suppose you'll learn tonight. That is what you do with fish, isn't it?).

Happy birthday, Noctis. I'm glad to have the chance to celebrate this one with you.
