[ Gladio was there, he knows exactly what a cute little shit you can be, Noct. It's endearing, honestly. You'll just never heard Gladio say as much aloud.

Nope, he'd much rather egg Noct on as the two of them jog around the residential areas. There's like, totally roads now that people have mopeds, but nothing beats hoofing it if you ask Gladio. ]

Bet Luna really likes that cuteness of yours, huh?

[ He's actually starting to wake up once the fresh air hits him. While Noctis completely prefers to stay in bed, he kind of likes the morning air. It's refreshing, energizing, and even if he's reluctant to admit it right this second? He's enjoying himself, keeping a decent pace and at least keeping up with Gladio. ]

[ at first, he smirks at his own personal quip about how adorable he is. But it fades quickly at Gladio's reply. It's replaced, instead, with his eyes briefly widening and his nose getting a touch red. Noctis doesn't look at Gladio at all. Instead, he scoffs. ]

[ Gladio smirks, giving Noct a playful shrug even as he keeps the pace for their jog. Obviously, there's always time for messing with Noct. ]

[ Noctis continues to jog beside Gladio, managing a decent pace and actually surprised that he isn't winded just yet. He keeps up with his guard, though he's almost inclined to come to a quick halt at the way he alludes to his relationship with Lunafreya. ]

[ He stops, sighing and turning his head quickly. He's immediately red, and he seeks to hide that. There's really no way of getting around it, and while Noctis seeks to be private about the relationship and it's... Complications, he's not necessarily in a position to deny things anyway. That, and it's extremely embarrassing having Gladio of all people pick on him about it. ]

It's just something that started happening on its own. Get your head out of the gutter.

[ Uh, huh. Real adult, Noct. Gladio is kind enough to stop a few feet ahead of him, grinning wide at Noct's reaction to his particular line of questioning. ]

I get that. You two kids got a month all to yourselves, I know what I'd do.

[ He should be relived that Gladio stops jogging, but it's hard when he's spitting out assumptions (that are true) which threaten to completely undo him. Noctis skids to a halt when he realizes Gladio has, wearing that smug look. And he can't necessarily hide the way his face turns bright red and his eyes grow the size of saucers. ]

[ He wears a complete look of shock and defense ]

[ Gladio doesn't even try to hide his guffaw at Noct's reaction. Make no mistake, he's losing it. He couldn't grin any harder if he tried. ]

[ Of course Gladio has to hold himself upright because he's laughing so hard he might fall over, which means it's a perfect time to step back up to Noct and place a hand on his shoulder to support himself. ]

[ Oh gods. Please. Please, help him. This is awful. Terrible, and Noctis is not at all prepared to deal with this kind of calling out from his fucking Shield and childhood teacher. They're practically brothers, yes, but Noctis already had a bad rap here with social queues. ]

[ So, he makes a strangled, embarrassed sort of sound when Gladio starts losing his shit and grabs him by the shoulder. The prince wrinkles his nose. ]

[ He whacks Gladio's hand at the next part, face brighter than ever. Noctis clenches his fists at his sides and takes a step back, looking more embarrassed than ever. ]

[ You've dug your grave, Noctis. You should have just outright denied it, but you know he would have assumed it anyway. Noctis scoffs as he covers his face and tries turning away. ]

Besides, I don't... Need your dumb pointers. Can we just get going?

[ Because Clarus definitely gave Gladio the talk and that's. Well, that was embarrassing for everyone, as you can imagine. Gladio would almost look concerned except he's still laughing, even as Noct steps away. Sorry not sorry, Noct. ]

[ Noctis groans, because this is the worst morning ever right now. He rubs his hands over his face, slowly dragging them down until Gladio says one particular thing that sets him off. ]

[ It's muffled, because it slips out while his hands drag over his mouth. And they stop in place while his eyes widen when he realizes what has just come out as literal word vomit. ]

[ WELP. There's that confirmation. ]

[ Gladio actually stops, his jaw dropping just slightly. I'll be honest, he wasn't actually sure if Noct and Luna were going at it, but hearing confirmation is enough to make him balk. You know, for like a second, before his eyes fill with pride and he goes from holding Noct's shoulder to patting him on his back. ]

[ He has to stop in the middle of his sentence. Again. Because Gladio prods at him again and this subject is just sensitive enough to have him on edge. His attention abruptly shifts back to Gladio, lip curled in a snarl. ]

You tell one of them something, you tell them all. Gladio's laughter has died down a bit, but you bet your ass he's still smirking about all this. ]

I mean, I figured you'd get your act together eventually. But getting there in a month? You move quick.

[ Rest assured, that's a compliment. But also, yeah he's doing his Gladio thing where he's brash and rude but trying to make Noct be his best self, etc etc. He also clams up a bit at the question, blushing and stepping away to bat him away. WOW NOCT THAT'S RUDE. ]

[ This is what he gets for having a big mouth. But as uncomfortable with the conversation as he is? The fact that Gladio is proud... surprisingly helps. Gladio has always been like a big brother to Noctis. This isn't the kind of recognition he expected or even wanted, but it's starting to become welcome. That doesn't stop the prince from scoffing. ]
